Across the doorsill where the two worlds touch...

by Mikele Rauch, LMFT

We are in a time of great turbulence. There is a trance of darkness and confusion that can rob goodness from the soul.

Inside however, the body tells the real story.

We may contract or sleep ourselves into numbness. However, it is only an illusion of safety.

But listen.

This may be the time to remember the deep connections that serve our
strengths—not our fear—and honor our own truth and the disruption of change.

Inside, the door is round and open.

Hold steady, and walk through that door.

Don't go back to sleep...¹

¹The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don't go back to sleep.
You must ask for what you really want.
Don't go back to sleep.
People are moving back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.
The door is round and open.
Don't go back to sleep.
